I have a 1998 Lance Squire 5000. It has been a great camper. I have most of the options on my camper. (generator, queen size bed mattress, outside shower, air conditioner, electric jacks, but the option that is probably worth the most both for summer and winter is the cold weather package with foam insulation. I found this out when I camped with a friend that had the same camper without that option. His air conditioner had to run much harder and his heater too.
Maybe that option is standard on the legend model. When I bought mine the only difference between the legend and the squire were cabinets that were trimmed nicer, curtains vs blinds, fancier counter tops and more painted stripes on the sides for a fancier look on the legend. Higher price tag went with it.:)
