SidecarFlip, I am hoping to avoid finding wet seams and rot in various places. I have heard there are pressure tests and other ways of trying to find leaks. I am trying to inspect my camper, but I found the hard way that it only takes a very small hole to result in major damage.
You can do what is called a 'Blower Door Test' on a TC pretty easily. You close up all the windows and vents to the outside and pressurize the interior (you can actually use the ventilation fan reversed and blowing in. The you wet down the outside a bit at a time and look for bubbles. The bubbles will be where it's leaking. Not all leaks are bad however, only leaks pertaining to seams, especially in the cab over area because driving in the rain pushes moisture in those leak spots and causes rot.
They all leak to a degree, it's the locations of the leaks that are important.
