Hi Matt, my system also dumps some black tank liquid when I remove the cap. In my case I think it is more a case of some liquid staying in the line at a low point and moving to the outfall end when the rv is moving. I plan on installing another valve at the end of the discharge pipe to take care of this problem. I guess a way to check is to dump the black tank, drive the rig around a bit, reopen the end cap to be sure the line is empty then add water to the tank and see if you have a leak. The dealer should fix if there is a leak in the black valve.
