:h unsure why you are assuming this. YOU are required to do yearly maintenance on the exterior of your rig to stop water intrusion.
once they roll down the highway they are subject to joints opening up at no fault of the manufacture.
There is no visible seal around this window so why should I assume that I therefore need to put a seal where there was no seal in the first place, there was nothing to suggest any joints had opened up and the technician confirmed this.
I check all the seals prior to winterizing each year and everything was intact and exactly as it looked prior to purchase, this is why I believe (as does the technician) that it's a manufacturer defect.
