LED Bulbs
I am on the hunt for LED bulbs, specifically 1141 and 1383 types. I do not want to rewire the fixtures but to use the bulbs in existing fixtures. I have been looking online and am somewhat frustrated....

No it hasn't.....with qualifications.
I too got ones that cost about $1.50 each and they have been doing fine.
If you had gotten ones for $.50 each, I think your opinion might be somewhat different.
And if you had paid over $5 each, you would have likely just wasted your money.
The center point price wise is often the "sweet spot". Not always but often.
