Lemon Pledge
I've read the lemon pledge comments about being great for removing the black streaks. While I was giving the awning a good scrub this weekend the DW took her swifter and put a cotton wash cloth on it and sprayed it liberally with Lemon Pledge. In about 5 minutes, she had scrubbed them off the camper on all 3 slides except the one that was wet from my awning scrubbing.
Stuff is almost effortless. More of a firm rub than a scrub to have them disappear.
Also as a FYI. The CAMCO wash and wax worked wonders on the underside of my awning in removing spotty mold spots with just some warm water and a soft RV brush. Took about 45 minutes to make my 16' awning look new again.
