Interesting, I need to pay more attention to this!
In our Gulfstream Visa/Vista, I have slept in the bunks personally a few times and I had room to spare when fully extended...but I'm talking just inches. I am exactly 72" (6').
I want to say ours are 73-75". Without a doubt, more than 72 but not more than 78.
