Length of trailer
When someone says they have a trailer that is, for example, 21 feet long, do they mean the total length from tongue to bumper, or the box length?

I always state the length for the space that my TT occupies which is from ball to rear bumper. On TTs the box length is about 3' shorter than total length, model # on most RVs is not indicative of actual length, but tend to be close to the size of the box if anything. Only time I find that it really matters is if we are trying to squeeze our rig into a specific sight.
