Length of trailer
When someone says they have a trailer that is, for example, 21 feet long, do they mean the total length from tongue to bumper, or the box length?

It gets tricky so you really have to measure with a tape to be sure how long one is. To me, 27 ft. would be 27 ft. bumper to bumper, or really including the hitch. But sometimes they mean just the box part . Many RV owners and even salesmen really don't know how long the trailer is. Don't go by the number on the trailer. A 27SL could be as long as 30 ft. or longer.
