Length of trailer
When someone says they have a trailer that is, for example, 21 feet long, do they mean the total length from tongue to bumper, or the box length?

The TT length is however you measure it. My box is 24 ft. 8 in. at its widest spot. It is almost 28 ft. from spare tire to ball socket.
I call it a 25 footer, I have no idea what the manufacturer called it.
Actually, when you get in a TT either it is too small, too big, just right or too heavy to tow with your vehicle. The physical size is secondary.
