1977 GMC 1500 Sierra trim 2WD, 350, TH350 3spd, air, no cruise bought used with 20,000 miles for $5000. in '78. Converted to propane along the way. One engine overhaul at 160,000 miles and one trans overhaul at 140,000 miles. Sold in running order at 300,000 miles. Towed, hauled, commuted, moved etc. Never did know how it would do running the gauntlet on I70. It would haul full stacked boxes of firewood across farm fields in a foot of snow with chains on.
