Yea and this is one of the reasons manufacturers are so quick to deny warranty claims...because of things like this where people do things to the trailer that were not intended, that causes other damage then claim foul with the build of the unit and want the mfg to pay up.
It happens enough to where mfg's have to resort to these tactics with denying claims and that ends up impacting people who get denied claims who didn't do anything stupid to their unit.
To the OP, there is a difference in being "flamed" and simply getting responses that say what you are doing is a bad idea. This is a forum for opinions.
