Yes a GOOD WDH does make that much of a difference and a VERY GOOD WDH makes even more of a difference. Get as good of a hitch as you can afford.;)
OK, did a little research, and I'm looking at this unit for a WDH. They tell me it will help control sway and also level the trailer a bit. It is capable of 1000lbs Tongue Weight. Any advantage to going to a 1200lb version? It's not a lot more $.
