How and where you camp is a big part of the answer. We moved from our ROO 23Ss HTT to a Rockwood 2604 and it seemed huge. Granted there are just two of us most of the time. The campgrounds we tend to visit most often....our very fave has some nice sites that even a larger rig like you're talking about would fit, but our fave site is not accessible now.... Remember that it's not only the length of the site, but being able to maneuver into it. Even the CG roads may or may not be a problem. Other CGs we're ok with would be fine. Something you need to think through and maybe even a drive thru if they're closeby.
Personal opinion is that bigger is not always better. As for comfort, if you're camping and spend most of your time outdoors, the size doesn't change, you're outside. If you tend to be indoors most of the time, IMHO again, why bother?? We camp to get out and enjoy nature, spend minimal time indoors. If it had not been for the issues with the extra set up/break down time and some physical problems, we were perfectly fine with our ROO. Take some time and think through how you'll use this extra size and if it's worth it. Happy camping!
