Update: I sprayed dry lubricant on everything and nothing changed. Then I sprayed electrical connector cleaner on the 2 side plastic pieces with springs thinking they had a sensor in them. One had some gunk in it that I used a old toothbrush to clean out. Then I sprayed WD40 on everything from hinges, latch, 2 plastic pieces, where they rest, even the support hinges. Now it powers down but when it closes it reopens but when I manually shut it light stays off no information warning.
I'll check the above. COntent for now I can drive it until I figure it all out. I wonder if the hatch supports/shocks are weak and allow the door to close to fast/hard and that is why it reopens?
