As of the moment I'm leaning heavily toward the LSD based on your opinions. I am also leaning toward the 3.55 over the 4.10. Fuel economy is one concern. I also came across this page:

where it is suggested that that for post 2010 trucks the 3.55 is fine. I'm not sure what happened post 2010... was it newer, more powerful engines? Ford has upped the HP and torque with the 2017 model year, so based on that and the referenced web page and not having received any warnings against the 3.55 I think I'll probably go that route.
