Technically it is not a trailer. it is a wagon. I would suspect that the cost of the turning mechanism, the stability of the unit at modern highway speeds and in sharp turns, plus the length of modern RVs would not be compatible with the design.
I would bet it would be interesting to park also. It is cute though.
