This is a kid in school. He's not gonna go buy a 2018 F450 because the glovebox sticker says he needs to.
The glovebox sticker on my old '86 GMC said it's payload was something just over 2000 pounds. That's a joke, that thing never complained about 5000, plus a heavy trailer. And my old F250 before that was doing the same job.
So you are saying the dually has the same axle?
Never said he had to buy 450 but yes, there is a difference. If he chooses to ignore the weight ratings, I can't stop him but he should at least be aware of what he is doing. Then again, he may be fine if he gets a small camper with the 250.
