Long distance purchase

As I'm looking I can't find the particular model anywhere in the region. The closest I can find on RVtrader is all the way across the state (and I live in Texas, so yes like 450 miles). I would really prefer to buy close by so when I have a repair issue they will do a good job.

Any advice? Can the local dealer do like car dealers and have one shipped locally without a lot of markup?

Thanks,

  • If you think you’ll get better service because you bought there you might want to search this and other forums. 95% of RV’rs found they got crappy service no matter where they bought. And I’m speaking from experience. Better to get the best deal you can. I drove 2,000 miles to save several thousand dollars. A good mobile RV repair guy is worth it.
  • I bought in texas live in ohio. made the deal over the phone ,on inspection, dealer picked us up signed the papers and on our way. dealer service will not matter.they really don,t care . p.s I,d never ever buy without seeing the rv.
