I have learned the hard way to only buy from a dealer that I am willing to make multiple return trips to. I have bought 3 different brands of RVs, and ALWAYS found multiple problems on the PDI. The last TT had broken components that had to be ordered/installed later.
Also, the closest RV service center has stopped inspecting units that they haven't sold. It pays to have a very good/familiar relationship with a local dealer.
That is IMO POOR service.
I believe most of the problems originated from the factory-the dealer's don't have time to make a silk purse from a sow's ear. I would much rather work out these problems with a local dealer. Lot's of problems aren't apparent until you get home, or get to the campground. Imagine a nice 1500 mile trip back to the dealer that you bought it from?
