Welcome to the forums. I can't provide help on your truck camper needs, as I've never owned one. But still I enjoy all the forums here and learn something from all of them, all the time.

Tip: It's easiest and most straightforward to state a single question, or a single situation and if you have a second question to start a new thread with that question.
You'll find folks on these forums will deviate from one end of the spectrem to another, and sometimes, the responses can get so convoluted and off topic, it reminds you of a game of "telephone". But, in the midst of it all, these forums are a great place to ask those questions! Lots of knowledge here.
