I run without jacks on my 1993 Sunlight vintage Popup TC. Before that I used to fold them up still attached to the brackets. Don't think that it would be stable enough on manual jacks anyway. Presently it is jacked up to realign the camper on the PU. The SS shock absorbers were touching the box in front.
