Looking at 2013 F-150 EcoBoost - any concerns?

I know two guys with 2013 F 150's. Both have the 5.0 liter V8. I've heard that there isn't a significant difference between the EcoBoost V6 and V8 for MPG.

I'd rather have the 5 liter V8...mostly because it doesn't have turbochargers ( I prefer non aspirated...less to go wrong) and mostly because it has that nice V8 exhaust note.

The way gas prices are going up...the gas V8 may not be in our future...in the future.
