- bigcitypopoExplorerSweet. Welllll ima pull the trigger on this thing... I threw some $ at it. Did ok on the trade. Just gotta let the credit union do their thing ill know Monday or Tuesday. :)
- rcostaExplorerWe have a 2009 model and like it a lot. We have never had another TT, so I have nothing to compare it to. We bought it used from a railroad company, so I would assume they did not take care of it like a family might. But that being said, we have had no problems with things not working and we it has no leaks. Pulls well and holds our 4 kids.
- cacoonExplorerI have had the 2013 Springdale 282bhssrwe for a year. I have a rear bed not the bunks. I like it. It does not have the same quality of my previous Jayco but problems have been minor. Its nice and roomy and many items came standard that with Jayco would have been extras.
Cacoon - APTExplorerFiberglass models are lighter for the same size and features. Keystone Passport 29xx under 5500 pounds dry compared to over 7000 for Springdale. Anyway, if you like it, buy it!
- bigcitypopoExplorerI'm max tow... Upgraded suspension too ( rear end gearing too) And being raised in a military fam.. I have outfitting a rig with Kit down to a science... Lol not a lot of unnecessary crap...
I have a 10k easy lift wd hitch too...
I'm kinda partial to the stick and tin rigs too. The fiberglass composite stuff seems crazy heavy.. - goducks10ExplorerNot to go weight police on you but @7000lbs dry you'll be @8000lbs+ loaded. That's good load if you don't have Maxtow as the TW will be near 1,000lbs. It's bunk model so you have kids and that means lot's of weight in the truck. At almost 33' long it will be a load for that F150 even with an EQ or Reese. Like others have said there may be other TT's that are lighter and nicer for the same price.
- aarond76ExplorerWell if 21k is the best deal out there on that Springdale then there a certainly cheaper units oout there of the same construction / floor plan.
I see you have an Aljo now, you may want to look at comparable floorplans by Skyline/Layton/Nomad as well.
