What I can tell from my experience is that for 2017 Ford's aluminium bed shaved like 200-300 lb, what increase the cargo capacity.
Suspension, at least on my dually was beefed up as well, so the truck can carry several hundreds lb of TC more than year earlier, steel model.
SRW will still limit the size to medium-weight campers.
The on-board generators not only move COG to the back, but are mostly lousy quality. Most of owners are happy with carrying Honda, where new 2200W model seem to power smaller AC.
The 1000W inverter generator that Home Depot was selling for $150 is real bargain.
