Hi all, I am looking at a 2008 Okanagan 115tnt, I know they are no longer selling/in business. But I have always like the look and the interior. So if anyone has one or knows the good or bad and would like to share. Are they of good quality??? Hold up well?? I have a 2012 Ford f350 carry Host Yukon tent style. Which the Okanagan is all most same floor plan, which I hadn't see before. Thanks Micheal

i think you've been misinformed.pretty sure the're still making them.lots of used one for sale in my area.they seem to hold up well.they're not high end units.comparable to adventurers.

Okanagan campers when they were being made were more of a high end camper. They were quite expensive.Checking NADA is appears that they were not made after 2008.

If you search the archives here, you can probably find more information about older models. Otherwise, you will be limited to just the past year.When I was looking for my camper in 2006, the quality didn't seem as good as Host. They also seem to be very heavy compared to any other brand of the same length. That seems to be a fact considering the posts here over the past few years.That being said, I think it depends on the particular model whether I would think about one or not. No matter what brand you pick, you have to fully inspect the individual camper. The quality can vary quite a bit in all brands even among the same year due to the hand built nature of them.

We've had an Okanagan 90W for a few years and have had no troubles at all. It's built very well and the insulation in the walls seems to be excellent. Unfortunately, we only have single pane windows so they're cold in the winter, but there's no leakage around the edges. If the camper you're looking at doesn't have a generator, you may not be able to add one. Okanagan used Generac, and they're no longer made and there don't seem to be any used ones anywhere. Ones you buy today probably won't fit. It's a great camper for boondocking since the freshwater tank I. Ours holds 54 gallons, with black and grey tanks very large as well.

Hi Micheal, I just saw your post and wanted to reply to you that I have a 2005 Okanagan truck camper that is in excellent condition, it has been stored in a heated garage, I am the second owner and bought it from a elderly couple who used it twice and then the husband passed away. My wife and I have used it for the last 6 years, and it looks like new on the inside. Ok,so we sealed the deal today, 1000.00 dollars and our camper, we leave Thurday from Fresno to Phoenix pick up the camper!! They were real nice to deal with, I asked if we got there and didn't like the camper if I would get my deposit back, they said yes no problem and would be happy to find something else that we might like, so this we weekend cleaning out the camper. We thought on the way back we would stay somewhere for a couple days and try out the new (New to us) camper, any suggestions? We will be heading on 10 west to California. I will try to post pics as soon we get it.

Yep that 116ULT is a beast. Little known fact but Arctic Fox cloned it and started offering a 1160 for a few years. Floorplan is 100% identical to the 116ULT, right down to the enormous dry bath with the neo-angle glass door shower. They discontinued it after 2 years, I assume because it was so damn heavy and people were having problems carrying it like the 116ULT. Pity, looked like a spacious floorplan.

Mine was so heavy to the driver's side I couldn't level it side to side with my Firestone Air Bags. The driver's side bag distorted enough to push the bracket holding the brake line into the inside dual sidewall and cut a groove in it. We traded it for a 106UDB and love it. I thought my truck was handling the 116 just fine until I put the 106 on it. I found I could drive 10 to 15 miles an hour faster with the lighter camper on our frost heaved roads up here and not bottom out like I had been.

I looked at a 2004 here in Denver and it was TOTALLY trached. Kind of sad to see. Reinforcing my attraction to the solid fiberglass units. I bought a 2005 Bigfoot that had been totally ignored and it was still in good shape, no leaks, needed some elbow grease an a new front decal (and a new water heater as they old one had froze and split.

Moral is that the conventional stick built campers are very sensitive to upkeep and maintenance so make sure you inspect them WELL, before purchase. A small leak can mean major rot damage.

That said I think the Okanagan unit are a good choice if you can find one well maintained.

You are right, they did make a 115tnt. Here is a link to pictures of it on their website. 115TNT I couldn't find the specs. and floor plan.

I spent a LOT of time this summer looking for a used camper, and the Okanagan was on my shortlist. They appeared to me to be a very well built camper.
The only thing that scared me was that there was some history of problems with the slide mechanism and parts for that were becoming very hard to find. I also don't think there was a way to operate the slide manually....but my memory could be wrong about that part.

Ok,so it seems that Tom's camper land has a good rap, which I am happy to hear, we are getting ready to get down to the dirt of dealing with them,we plan on trading in our Host Yukon. We see how this turns out.The Okanagan model is a 115tnt, with a dinette slide and rear tent,the weight dry is 3900, from what I understand they didn't make a lot of this model,if you go to their web site you won't find it but if you Google it will come up. I thinking the weight is closer to my Yukon which at the scales weighted 4100, my 2012 F-350 DRW King Ranch does fine with it, after installing air bags,extension on the bump stops for the overload springs and Road Master sway bars.
