Hi all, I am looking at a 2008 Okanagan 115tnt, I know they are no longer selling/in business. But I have always like the look and the interior. So if anyone has one or knows the good or bad and would like to share. Are they of good quality??? Hold up well?? I have a 2012 Ford f350 carry Host Yukon tent style. Which the Okanagan is all most same floor plan, which I hadn't see before. Thanks Micheal

i think you've been misinformed.pretty sure the're still making them.lots of used one for sale in my area.they seem to hold up well.they're not high end units.comparable to adventurers.

Okanagan campers when they were being made were more of a high end camper. They were quite expensive.Checking NADA is appears that they were not made after 2008.

If you search the archives here, you can probably find more information about older models. Otherwise, you will be limited to just the past year.When I was looking for my camper in 2006, the quality didn't seem as good as Host. They also seem to be very heavy compared to any other brand of the same length. That seems to be a fact considering the posts here over the past few years.That being said, I think it depends on the particular model whether I would think about one or not. No matter what brand you pick, you have to fully inspect the individual camper. The quality can vary quite a bit in all brands even among the same year due to the hand built nature of them.

We've had an Okanagan 90W for a few years and have had no troubles at all. It's built very well and the insulation in the walls seems to be excellent. Unfortunately, we only have single pane windows so they're cold in the winter, but there's no leakage around the edges. If the camper you're looking at doesn't have a generator, you may not be able to add one. Okanagan used Generac, and they're no longer made and there don't seem to be any used ones anywhere. Ones you buy today probably won't fit. It's a great camper for boondocking since the freshwater tank I. Ours holds 54 gallons, with black and grey tanks very large as well.

You asked about Toms Camperland in Arizona. I just purchased one from them. Two weeks ago I went there from southern Utah to purchase one I saw on their web site. When I got down there it would not work out for us. Brad the owner is very nice and offered to pay our fuel cost if we didnt purchase the camper. He worked with us and found a beautiful 2007 Lance 1055 with solar, gnerator. flat screen tv etc.He deliverd it to Las Vegas last weekend for us so we wouldnt have to drive all the way to Phenix. It is a beautiful unit. I couldnt be happier with the camper or the way Brad treated us. The delivery person, Adam, made sure we were happy and new how everything worked.

I bought an 811 with a slide new in 2005. I kept it for 3 years and loved it. We just sold it to get more room on a 5th wheel.

I have had experience with a dozen or so. They are well built campers with nice lines. Some have had water incursion problems on the sidewalls coming from the roof. This may have been a result of previous owner maintenanace but in my opinion this problem is more common than with other brands I have dealt with. Consider checking the sidewalls with a moisture meter. They are generally speaking very HEAVY. Consider checking the GVWR of the truck you are putting it on against the estimated loaded weight of the camper.

We have a 2006 Okanagan 116 ult bought it new no problems .It is heavy , no problems in the last 8 1/2 years. 6000 lbs loaded 12.8" tall. A great camper.

We have had this 116 “Ultimate Suite” since new and have been extremely happy with it, West Coast Leisure Homes Ltd. Built them In Penticton B.C. They did stop building campers few years ago, they still may be building trailers though. Had a little trouble with the dinette slide mechanism, they replaced it under warrantee, Well-built and reliable, We have been going to lots of RV shows after the purchase and Haven’t seen anything that compares to the quality and design yet. Seen some pictures of a Chalet that may be comparable.

I came close to buying a Host Everest from them until I lucked out and found one locally. They just wanted too much for shipping. IIRC they wanted 9,000 to ship a Host TC from AZ to Anchorage (Alaska) via freight carrier.

As far as Okanagans, I've always loved the looks of those campers. Particularly the edged/angled nose cap on the exterior and the design pattern they use on all the interior wooden cabinets and fridge door. I was actually looking for a 116ULT when I first decided to switch from a 5th wheel to a TC but couldn't find one. They are beautiful but HEAVY. Make sure you watch your weights.

So how do I get into the archive's past a year? The camper is in Arizona at Tom's camper land, two questions has anyone dealt with them and what is the best way to check out a camper from long distance,I in central California. They have sent me pictures some clear some not, thanks again
