So far as I know a lot of these stations get gas, and I assume diesel) from the same tank trucks. I've talked to some of the drivers and when they are hauling fuel they just deliver to stations that are low on fuel irrespective of brand name. Maybe the big names like Shell and BP have their own suppliers but I doubt Valero does.
