Less holding tanks, less propane, less cabinents, less carrying capacity, less fridge space, and less ceiling height etc. In addition most if not all light TTs do not have ducted air. This means that the AC unit hangs down from the already low ceiling. Many a bell has been rung by these units.
Hello,
We are looking to purchase our first travel trailer. We headed to our local RV dealership all full of excitement and were so disappointed to find that most lite travel trailers have an interior height of only 6'6" or less - my husband is 6'7" tall! Can anyone suggest a taller interior height travel trailer (i.e. 81+ inches tall). We also need bunk beds, a queen/king sized bed and would like the travel trailer to be as short as possible, preferably under 25 feet. The lighter the better as well, we're towing with a 1/2 ton SUV.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks,
Jane
Although there are high tech ways /materials to make TTs lighter, they are generally more expensive. In such a price competitive industry, few will go that route.
Good luck in your search.
