Go to a 3500 for the payload. You might be surprised at how little you have on a 2500 that is optioned out. I have a 2014 Ram 3500 Megacab with 4074lbs payload. I have the factory 5th wheel prep and you can get a curt or B&W to drop into it, or get a picture frame adaptor and then put any isr hitch on top of that (might run into the fiver not being level though so watch it as the new trucks are tallllllll). All of the big three HD trucks are nice...drive them all and see what you like best
