Concerning the rear axle on Ford SRW trucks, I have no way to know what is right or wrong except to go with published specifications as opposed to "he said.". From the following link the 2015 specs are as shown and have not changed in 5 model years. Not sure why they would appear year after year if they are wrong. It's a public link.

...we have had this discussion before...The information posted by me is not hearsay in it's exact form...It's a quote from the Assistant Plant Manager in charge of all production at the Ford Sterling Axle Plant...I specifically asked about the apparent misprint in the document you quote. He categorically rejected any notion that there are any differences in the Sterling Axle Assemblies installed in either F250 or F350 SRW Trucks...They do not even differentiate between the two models when they ship truck loads of axle assemblies, all the same, down to the Louisville Truck Plant...
