I put a set of Timbrens on my Sierra 1500 and it rode like a rock with the trailer attached. I immediately took them off and returned them and traded up for a 2500HD.
That they do. But they are a good semi flexible option to solid block the rear axle, hahaha.
I’ve used them on a couple half ton work trucks when I didn’t get a bigger truck! You can drop the tongue of a 16k flatbed loaded on it and they work great!
I’d only use them under a full time truck camper or similar and only if I didn’t have a better option
