looking for feedback

I am looking for feeback from people who own Gray Wolf campers, i want to know your likes and dislikes as well. I have searched but not had any luck finding a forum that is targeted to the Gray Wolf crowd. Either i can't find them cause i'm dumb and blind or there simply isn't any. :B I would just like to hear from people who have a Gray Wolf and find out the good and not so good on them. I have been eyeing them for the last couple of years and finally bought one last week. We will be picking it up the 21st of this month and can't wait. We bought the 26BH model but mainly just interested in what the general feeling is about this line up.

You get what you pay for. They are built as an entry level trailer and you can see where they cut costs. That being said my coworker has a '12 26BH and it has served him well. Only issues has been the electric tongue jack, replaced twice under warranty, and the couch is missing a cross brace so it is very flimsy.

I personally find it dark inside, not many windows, and the storage areas are hard to access. The front storage is only accessible from one side, water heater is on the other, and the doors are small. Also, it lacks a thermostat for the AC.

I'm very well aware it's an entry level trailer but for the price I think it is built better than some I've looked at. Hell I put a Barker tongue jack on my Hyrbird and I've had to replace it twice because of it going out, that kind of thing can happen to any of them regardless of the brand and or price. They must have improved the thermostat as I have a thermostat for both heat and cool.

Does the thermostat actually control the A/C? I thought you controlled the A/C from the roof unit and the furnace from the wall thermostat. That's how it has been on my previous TTs, even my last Jayco. Having the A/C controlled from the wall thermostat is ok but not a necessity.

Well I was under the impression but I could be wrong. Truthfully some of these guys selling these RV's don't know much about them. I've had one salesman tell me that they come with DVD players when you get the TV and yet another said they don't have. I don't think they have the DVD but who knows.

I will be able to tell you more in 2 weeks when I can really go over the trailer myself. I'm like you it won't bother me one way or the other if the AC isn't thermostat controlled. I'm still very up in the air about the power awning. I know one thing I will like about it is when I'm away from the camper the wife can just push a button and bring in the awning when weather threatens.

Any trailer can leak, a good friend of mine has a brand new Mobile D suite that is leaking something terrible and they haven't been able to find the leak yet. Any trailer can leak no matter the brand or price.

I agree, just did a quick search and came up with that. I have no experience with the brand.

  • I've seen that first video before and it is in reference to the slide. The 26BH doesn't have a slide. Can't get the second one to load right now.
