Can't help you on the Prime Time since I've never heard of it.
I was thinking along the lines of a rental, also. Or what about going for a MUCH smaller Class C....you could tow a small enclosed trailer or just a trailer made for bikes and have both at hand?
Also agree that you need to have the discussion on why you're not getting out more often. If you find that it's time, can that be changed to give you camping time? If it's the size and hassle of the MH or the pricey fill up at the pump, something smaller would take care of that. Regardless of what you're towing + adding the bike in the bed of the truck, about 10 mpg is as good as it's gonna get.
If you find that it's your location and that you've pretty much been there and seen that, then maybe a break would be good. Completely understand about the poochies and considering air travel would be WAY down my list of choices since you want them with you. I would not for one second give any thought to crating and flying my dogs....9 years of vet clinic work let me hear a lot of horror stories. Scratch that for sure.
FWIW, my dear cousin has changed/moved UP in TT/MHs like some people change their socks. They have gotten to the 45' size and his DW is miserable with it. If he were totally honest, my guess is that he is, too. They can't get into many, many parks that they would enjoy...the site may be long enough but no maneuvering room to get there. They are pretty much stuck with KOA or similar and that is not camping, IMHO. They are sitting there with an incredibly gorgeous MH that is so blasted inconvenient to use - not to mention that fuel stop - that they go out maybe 3 or 4 times a year. Makes me cringe to think of the $$$$$$ sitting there doing nothing and what they really want is to get to a nice, wooded campsite, maybe a campfire, sit out with a glass or two and enjoy life. Just something to think about....may apply, may not.
Good luck. Hope you can find info on the TT you're thinking about. Let us know how this all works out.
