Looking for info on Onan Generator for Wolf Creek

My Wolf Creek 840 is Generator ready and I was looking at Getting the Onan Lp 2500 Generator can anyone tell me what exhaust tail pipe set up i need to run it out of the bottom and away from the camper i found a 7" down tube thats just straight and a 90 Elbow which only comes down 1" before the bend, and is not very long. Some Part #'s would be great.

Thanks Todd

  • Do any wolf creek or Arctic Fox owners have the Onan 2500 Lp generator? if so what holes did they cut in the bottom of the box for venting? I could use a picture of what the bottom looks like where the air vent lp vent and exhaust come out? Before i do any drilling or cutting i was gonna make a template first. Our Wolf creek was Generator ready and i have since purchased the generator but its up to me to cut all the vent holes. And it seems to me i would want some covers over these vent holes any help or pics would be great.
    Thanks Todd
  • If you cant get the lengths/bends in a one piece simply 2. Manual shows both a straight or 90° connector available to adapt muffler to tail pipe, but doesnt show tail pipe extension.

    Manual http://www.norwall.com/product_pdfs/626_2.5hgjbb.1121.pdf
    • Exhaust kit elbow 90 degree (P/N A041H694)
    • Exhaust kit downtube (P/N A041L816) 5.75" lg
Manaul shows the above which are flanged down tube connectors. With a straight down tube then add section with 90°.
However available 'kit' 155-2325 shows a split clamp on- what it doest show is if it clamps directly to gen or to downtubes above (which I suspect is case-extension clamped to bolt on down tube)?

Possibly if Onans are supplied by camper mfg-inquire to them for needed parts?
  • You might want to install the Onan resonator as part of the system. It will help with some of the noise. Im not sure of the part# but you should be able to Google it.
