Looking for open floor plan

I currently have a fifth wheel. Overall length is 36 ft. It is a nice camper but I would like to change. I love the open double slide in the living room and kitchen. The biggest thing that I like about fifth wheel is how it tows. I almost don't know it is behind me vs the wag that you get with a travel trailer. I think there are better hitches now to reduce wag. One thing I don't like about my camper is the bedroom feels like a coffin. There is only one window. There is no good place for a tv.
I have been looking and can not find a floor plan that I am thinking about. This description would be back to front. My thought is to have a rear bath so it is big with full size tub/shower. The bathroom wall facing the living room would be an entertainment center with large tv. I want two large opposing slides to open up the camper. At least two full size sofas, preferably three seating areas. Kitchen and dining table, maybe an island to get the counter top space. The last thing is a bedroom open to the rest of the trailer so we can watch tv from there if we want to. I don't want a fold up bed. We can put up a curtain to pull across to darken at night.
All this without having a forty foot trailer. Having a long trailer can limit sites.
Has anyone seen anything like this? Or am I just crazy?
Thanks for any ideas or input.

Sounds like your television is your main focal point.
  • Sounds like you’re designing a custom home, lol.
You want a bumper pull that pulls the best and has the most open floor plan, get a toyhauler, with combo garage/living space, not a separate garage.
If you have a 5ver, you have the truck to tow it. No lack of tongue weight and minimal weight aft of the axles, so pulls straight as an arrow without any sway control.
And the added bonus is you gain a porch/deck and a screen wall at the back to really open up the camper during nice weather.
The other added bonus is the frame and axles are overbuilt compared to a similar size TT.
