When I bought my first new truck 20-odd years ago, I had determined that I was going to be one of "those" guys, you know, the ones that come on here and rant and rave because you can't get a stick in a Ford or a GM anymore...
Stick for life! That was me. You could have my manual transmission when you pried it from my cold dead hands.
Then I got stuck on the Mass Turnpike in stop-n-go traffic for 3+ hours. It wasn't the kind of stop-n-go where you could pop it out of gear and give your leg a rest, no... It was that kind of traffic where you'd move ahead 6 feet every 30 seconds, and if I didn't, six other drivers would start honking, cursing, and shaking their fists at me.
I couldn't walk right for several days and my left knee continues to hurt on and off to this day.
