I HATE, HATE, HATE automagic transmissions. Deeply and passionately. I will never own another daily driver with a slushbox as long as I have a left foot and right arm attached to my body.
HOWEVER...
When towing 9 tons of fifth-wheel around in traffic, through stoplights, up and down hills, over the river and through the woods.... I'd rather have the auto.
So for me, the answer is easy. My DD is a stick, Truckasaurus is an auto.
