I used to have all manual transmissions in everything then my wife found out she had RA (about 20 years ago) and it hurt her hands to shift so now all is automatic.
Because I have a boat and I pull the two ocean boats I crew on I'll never go back.
But then I love love the Allison tranny with it's tow/haul and manual shifting mode...
