Too bad it would be a hassle to do but don't we remember the B&M click shifter? Best of both worlds I think. Built a jeep once. Took out the 304 manual and built an AMC 401. Put it in front of a Chrysler 909 with that B&M shifter. It was pretty awesome and could burn the wheels in every gear. It was like an auto/manual hybrid. I know we can "manual" on the selector at the steering wheel but it's not quite the same. Maybe there's something like it for the "5 or 6 on the tree" automatics. I haven't read all the replies so I'll apologize if it's been mentioned and once again I come in at the end of the game. Bench warmer that I am.
