I agree....replacing the whole floor may not be the best solution depending on the location of the lump. If vinyl is cut and re-glued properly you will never see where it was repaired. It's not like the TT is 2 yrs old and you have fading and wear patterns that would make a patch obvious.
In the end whether they patch or replace, the quality of the job is going to depend on the skills of the techs that do it....if the guy at the RV shop doesn't know how to work with a vinyl floor, he will make a bigger mess replacing the whole thing than just patching it.
