Can your trailer make the transition from the street to the driveway and from the driveway to the street without dragging the rear end?
This was another thing I'm worried about. I've read others have used a low hitch to drop the front end and raise the back to overcome this.... Other than that, not sure of anything else that I can do about it. Won't know unless I try.
Thanks for all the good advise!... Not a single person so far has been on the negative end, which makes me feel better about this.
4lo will be a no-go unless I'm going straight, definitely will keep it in a low gear going both up and down. Weight distribution will come off going up, stay on going down.
I'm still going to have my buddy tethered to the back of the trailer the first time down... Gonna keep slack in the line the whole time. It will be my just in case something terrible happens until I get the feel of the first time down.
I'll post a pic of the driveway for those curious when I get a chance.
