I used the MORyde as well.
I mounted to a hollow interior wall by drilling a 1" hole thru the front wall, into which I inserted dowels which were glued to the inside of the back wall. I then drilled the dowels and wall to accept 1/4" bolts.
I then created a 5/8" wood face plate the size of the bracket, glued it to the front wall, and thru bolted the bracket assembly to the wall.
Be sure to match drill everything to the mounting plate of the bracket, of course.
I also used fender washers, on the back wall, under the heads of the bolts
Its solid as a rock.
