There are "newbies" that purchase trailers for that once in a lifetime long trip. Some intend to leave it down by the lake all summer, while others may use theirs for traveling to Grandma's up in Michigan twice a year. I am not a mind reader. Boondocking or staying at the local KOA are different applications. Is the Nano perfect for all of these uses?
Why the need to blow this all out of proportion? :h The OP already gave us the basics and is just asking for suggestions on models that may be suitable for herself and 2 kids, even gave us hints as to which types of trailers she's been considering. Is the Nano "perfect"? ... of course not, NO trailer is "perfect", but the Nano 185BH is a pretty darned good light weight choice for one or two adults with a couple of kids, regardless of how they may use the trailer. :B
