As has been pointed out several times, the limiting factor with light duty tow vehicles is usually their available payload. Disregard it and come back on the forums in a short time asking about suspension upgrades, better tires, and what fancy hitch can help with your handling problems.

+1 tow rating is useless. My truck has a 10,200# tow rating... however towing my 3,200# puts me nearly at payload limit if I carry firewood and a generator. What happenned to 7000# of towing capacity?? It never existed except on paper for a fictional load.
