OK, so now that we know you actually have this Pathfinder the next step is to go weigh it with a full tank of gas. Presumably the vehicle already has a Class III / IV 2" hitch receiver so that weight will be included as part of the vehicle curb weight but you'd want to allow ~ 100 lbs for any weight distribution system you may later purchase. If you're in the vehicle at the time it's on the scale subtract your weight from the scale reading and what you'll end up with is your particular vehicle's real world curb weight as it sits there ready to be hitched to a trailer. Subtract that number from it's listed GVWR and you'll then also have it's actual, real world payload capacity - that which you will use to account for the weight of all people in the vehicle, any cargo you may add to it, plus any tongue weight transferred from the trailer to the truck. Exceed that payload capacity and you're sure to exceed it's axle ratings, particularly the rear axle gross weight rating.
The best way to deal with weight calculations for a trailer you've not yet purchased is to note the UVW listed on the unit's cargo carrying capacity sticker - i.e. how much that particular trailer weighed as it left the factory.
Plug this information into a trailer towing calculator such as this one I use ...
... and you'll then be able to calculate with reasonable accuracy just how well suited your particular vehicle will be for towing any given trailer.
