Thanks everyone for responding and providing valuable information. While I don't have an immediate answer of whether the fix I have gotten is the remedy, as I am waiting out a storm to continue west. Thus the freedom of not having a schedule and can hold in place as storms move around me.
I did wait it out and ended up driving to Tucumcari without any issues. Truck ran flawlessly from my spot at the state line. As I arrived in Tucumcari the truck ran Limp mode again. The test drive after the performed work, the truck performed flawlessly, again. The true test will happen when I set forth on Monday, heading to the Mojave.
