Well I don't like your barking dog or yelling kids so why don't you leave them at home since I don't like them?
Sometimes you might would prefer that I would have brought a generator instead of my kids.
This "new breed" of camper also has come in with their large trailers, some with 2 or (gasp) 3 slides. They've setup camp with big rugs, 3 tables, kayaks/canoes, etc. They'll choose to be primitive, not bringing a generator, and doing without the AC. They'll go home and tell everyone they were roughing it.
Should we all just go back to tents and sleeping bags? For that matter, a tent is too new age as well. Best just to stick with a tarp stretched over a fallen branch we found on the bumpy road we took to get into the woods (not campground).
If people are using generators within the rules, then suck it up. Just remember that the next person you get angry at about running their generator could be using it to power their nebulizer because they're having an asthma attack.
