I agree with several post on this topic.
I found it best to read the posts and PM an individual that has info or if I think I may help. (Not always, I sometimes put it in the forum). I guess my personality can't handle minor public ridicule for the "stupid" questions I might ask.
I avoid excess negativity, beating a dead horse, and "topic" police rants. Just makes me feel better to get through the day without it.
So, if more people are participating as I do, this could have something to do with less traffic on the forum.
I have noticed "Sheldon Cooper" doesn't hold a candle to some on the forum.
I have shared a few of my experiences(opinions)when I really thought I knew something of a topic(you know how opinions are).
That being said, I think we need more "Sheldon Cooper" type participants.
