Less activity? I don't see it unless you miss the endless gas versus diesel or Ford versus Chevy arguments that are not going to change one person's mind anyway. I still see a lot of new topics or takes on old topics that bring out some new and interesting responses. There are still a lot of "Mine is better than yours" comments, but also a lot of really practical and useful information.
I did a quick search on the word "Search" and it is mentioned in about 9,000 posts in the last 12 months. I don't think we need to constantly remind people to "Do a search".
I've been around a while and will often suggest using the SEARCH to a NEW member-especially after cordially welcoming them to the forum...the people that constantly ask the same old questions I will just ignore :B
Typically, something like this-
welcome to the forum NEWBIE-ABC I have found that I've had great luck using the thing-a-ma-jig that you asked about, my experiences were like this, this, and this. Many members have had different experiences and posted about it here in the past-if you're looking for some of those you can utilize the SEARCH function to find them... I personally have been more turned away when topics are driven off subject and redirected to weight/tire/brand debates-a guy that just bought a new RV doesn't necessarily want to hear that his driveway pavement may not hold up 20 years because of the big weight parked on it! Regardless-one of the beauties of camping is if you don't like your surroundings you can pickup and move one-and I think that does happen here as well.
